Jeanette is a Professional Consultant whose passion is working with seniors and families to guide them through the many life choices they face as they age. She believes in presenting all possible options available to her clients, whether it’s for a later in life transition, planning to age in place in their home, or in an unexpected crisis. She believes wherever/whenever possible seniors should maintain control and have a voice in making important decision affecting changes to the way they live to maintain their dignity. She strongly believes to make the best decisions her clients need to be made aware of all choices available and the pros and cons of each.

Some years ago, Jeanette experienced a health care emergency in her own family when her father went into a healthcare crisis, she was the only sibling living near her parents and, to that end, the responsibility fell to her. At that time, she knew very little about the Ontario healthcare system and the many challenges faced by seniors to access care. She looked to traditional sources to provide guidance and quickly discovered there was little help available. This experience prompted a career change focused on helping seniors. 

Over the last 8 years, Jeanette has been on a quest for learning. She has worked in Retirement Living, for a Geriatric Care Management team, focused on helping seniors find their way out of complicated situations and most recently for a Home Care Agency. 

Jeanette is a customer focused solutions executive who brings more than 30 years of experience in customer service and problem-solving in diverse industries to her work with seniors. Her focus and “out of the box thinking” used to solve complex problems has been one of her greatest strengths. This coupled with her ability to listen, empathize, mediate and connect with her clients helps to find solutions to many challenging and complex situations.
