Fluid Senior Transitions was proud to be a part of an incredible fundraiser supporting those suffering from Parkinson’s. This Walk/run consisted of 1km, 2km and 5 km at JC Saddington Park in Port Credit, along the beautiful shore of Lake Ontario.
An incredible turnout showed support with everyone enjoying the social interaction with members of the community and having some fun! Those registered in the walk/ run received a t-shirt, a water bottle, a BBQ (courtesy of Maple Lodge Farms) and live music (courtesy of Rock Express).
All funds raised go towards free creative arts and exercise programs to enhance the lives of individuals living with Parkinson’s in the Halton/Peel regions.
The event was held in Port Credit at J.C Saddington Park and raised over $20,000.
Jeanette Bock and her firm Fluid Senior Transitions were on hand as a community sponsor to this event. Fluid Seniors Transitions assists seniors in helping them live their best life by providing resources, choices, navigation, advocacy, and support while planning the transition to their next chapter.
